Sports Trinity partners with Life Time
Sports Trinity has partnered with Life Time to collect quality squash and racquet-sport equipment directly from the club community, turning gear that would otherwise sit unused into a first racket for a young athlete.
Why club partnerships matter
Squash equipment has an unusual life cycle. Committed players replace rackets long before those rackets stop being useful, and a racket that no longer suits a competitive adult is very often perfect for a child picking up the sport for the first time. The gear exists. The problem has always been collecting it in one place.
Athletic clubs solve that problem. They concentrate exactly the players most likely to have surplus equipment, and they give us a permanent, staffed location to gather it, rather than relying on one-off drives that depend entirely on volunteer availability.
What the partnership involves
Through this partnership, Sports Trinity works with Life Time to make donating equipment straightforward for members: gear is collected on site, then sorted, cleaned, and inspected by our volunteers before it goes anywhere.
Rackets are checked for frame integrity and restrung where needed. Protective eyewear is inspected and replaced rather than passed along if there is any question about it. Anything that does not meet the standard we would want for our own families does not get donated.
What it unlocks
A steady collection point changes what we can plan for. Instead of estimating what a single drive might yield, we can commit to programs and schools in advance, knowing that equipment will be there when we need it.
That reliability is the difference between handing a school a box of rackets once and being able to support a program season after season.
